YSS NoDis Campaign
YSS began its NoDis Campaign in 2005 and re-launched the campaign in 2011 in celebration of its 35th anniversary. The purpose is to fight bullying and promote the tolerance of different cultures, races, creeds and sexual orientation. Youth and adults are asked to sign a pledge to signify their alignment with YSS' respect of diversity. Each receives a free No Disrespect wristband.
YSS No Disrespect Pledge
I hereby pledge to treat others with respect and to never participate in bullying or to be silent when others are being put down and disrespected. We are all different, but I believe we all deserve respect. By wearing this "NoDis" wristband, I promise to show tolerance and respect to those whose abilities, beliefs, culture, race, sexual identity, age, gender, or other characteristics different from my own. I will remove the "NoDis" wristband if I violate this pledge.
