Formed in 1984, The Youth and Shelter Services Foundation embraces the values and guiding principles of YSS and supports the mission of YSS through the development of financial and community resources for the future.

Each year over 1,500 individuals and families support our Friends of the YSS Foundation campaign. The Foundation currently administers an Endowment of over $3 million.  Each outright and planned gift expands and meets needs in perpetuity of Youth and Shelter Services.

Examples of planned gifts are a bequest in a will, a revocable living trust, life insurance, charitable remainder unitrust, or charitable gift annuity.  Your attorney and/or financial advisors, can help you find ways to support the mission of YSS while ensuring your family's financial security.

Please consider becoming a benefactor to the youth in your community by making a planned gift to the YSS Foundation Endowment. Your support will help the next generation soar to a brighter future.
